Grace Gowera, Recipient of CSSS Pedology Travel Award
Dr. Grace Gowera is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan, holding a PhD in Soil Science. Her research combines remote sensing, soil spectroscopy, geospatial analysis, and machine learning to rapidly predict and map soil properties, particularly soil salinity and soil organic carbon, to support sustainable soil management.

Olatunbosun Ayetan, Recipient of CSSS Pedology Travel Award
Dr. Olatunbosun Ayetan completed his PhD in Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph in 2025. His doctoral research focused on agricultural soil compaction, soil structure, and the effects of machinery traffic and soil management using X-ray computed tomography. His broader research interests include soil structure, pedology, soil physical processes, and sustainable soil management.
